FBI Director James Comey said Thursday that agents investigating Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information did not question the former secretary of state under oath.
The “five or six” agents who questioned Clinton for more than three hours Saturday did not transcribe their interview, nor did they record the session.
Comey said he was not present at the interview and was unsure whether he had even spoken with all the agents who conducted it.
However, the FBI director clarified that Clinton would still be charged with a crime if she lied to the FBI.
