ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The Maryland State Board of Elections has certified that the state’s congressional redistricting map will be on the ballot in November for voters to approve or reject.
Linda Lamone, the board administrator, wrote a letter to Washington County Republican Delegate Neil Parrott on Friday to inform him that 59,201 signatures have been accepted by the board. That’s more than the 55,736 needed to put the map on the ballot for a referendum.
