A Baltimore County man was arrested Friday after a search warrant at his house led to State Police to discover pornographic images and videos of children being sexually abused.
Timothy Debarbora, 22, of the 7200 block of Waldman Avenue, in Edgemere, is charged with nine counts of possession and distribution of child pornography, one count of marijuana possession and one count of drug paraphernalia possession. He was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center Friday after posting a $75,000 bond.
Distribution of child pornography is a felony that carries up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The investigation into Debarbora began on March 22, when a state trooper assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force determined that more than 400 video files depicting child pornography were being offered for download from a computer in Dundalk.
The investigator tracked the source of the videos to the Waldman Avenue address, where Debarbora lives with his mother, police said. Troopers said they found a computer in the house that contained multiple images of graphic child pornography.
