North Carolina proposal scraps DMV for new authority

(The Center Square) – Renaming and redirecting chain of command is proposed in the North Carolina General Assembly for the agency the state’s 11 million residents access for driver’s licenses, and for vehicle titles and registrations.

The idea comes together in two stages, the first part potentially to be enacted July 1 and the second when complete.
