Rep. John Larson (D-CT) said he suffered a “complex partial seizure” Monday that caused his speech to stop abruptly on the House floor.

Larson, 76, was in the middle of a floor speech when he stopped speaking midsentence. The ranking member of the Ways and Means Committee was waving his hand in the air, then immediately brought it down and struggled to finish his sentence with long pauses between words. The clip of his episode made the rounds on social media and revived discussion on term limits for members of Congress.
