Former Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger received a $500,000 cash infusion from a liberal veterans group as she pursues the Virginia governorship this year.
The group, VoteVets, is using its largest political donation ever to support a former CIA officer in Spanberger. She declined to run for reelection in the House, opting for a gubernatorial bid.
