‘Wish her well’: Trump sends his best to Jeffery Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell

President Trump said he hopes that Jeffery Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell is doing well following her recent arrest.

“I don’t know. I haven’t really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly,” Trump said during a press conference on Tuesday. “I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach. But I wish her well, whatever it is.”

Maxwell was arrested earlier this month for her alleged role in recruiting young women who were sexually exploited by Epstein and other powerful men. She was charged with conspiracy to entice minors, enticement of a minor, conspiracy to transport minors, transportation of a minor, and perjury. According to the medical examiner, Epstein died from suicide in a New York prison after being arrested on similar charges last year.

Trump said that he had not been following the situation closely, despite his previous relationship with Epstein and Maxwell. He said he was not aware of Prince Andrew’s alleged ties to Epstein, either.

“I don’t know the situation with Prince Andrew. I just don’t know. I’m not aware of it,” he said.

Prince Andrew has been accused of raping one of Epstein’s victims.
