White House spokesman Sean Spicer indicated Monday that the Trump administration has not scuttled the idea of a Spanish-language White House website, and that it’s something officials are still working on.
The Washington Post reported that the Spanish-language homepage on the White House site had disappeared under Trump. But Spicer indicated it’s still a work in progress, along with other aspects of the site.
“We are continuing to build out the website, both in the issue areas and then that area, but we’ve got the IT folks working overtime right now to continue to get all of that up to speed,” he said when asked about the Spanish-language page.
“Trust me, it’s just going to take a little bit more time, but we’re working piece by piece to get that done,” he said.
