LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Jefferson County Public Schools will mail the applications for free and reduced-priced school meals to all student households starting Monday.
Household size and income criteria will be used to determine eligibility. An application must be completed each school year and cannot be approved unless it contains complete eligibility information.
Once approved, meal benefits are good for the entire school year.
A self-addressed, postage-paid return envelope is included in the packet. To apply for free and reduced price meals, households must complete and return the application. Applications are also available at all Jefferson County public schools
Applications may be submitted at any time during the year.
