LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Home health provider LHC Group Inc. has acquired a home health agency from Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Burleson, Texas.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Lafayette-based LHC Group announced its acquisition of Huguley Home Health Agency on Thursday. LHC Group said the agency will operate as Methodist HomeCare and provide services to patients in two Texas counties while continuing to care for patients discharged from Huguley Memorial Medical Center.
LHC Group recently formed a joint venture with Texas Health Resources and Methodist Health System. Huguley Memorial Medical Center became affiliated with Texas Health Resources earlier this year.
