Jeb Bush’s son to vote for Trump

President Trump has the support of at least one member of the Bush family.

Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, the son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, said he will vote for Trump in the 2020 election.

“President Trump is the only thing standing between America and socialism,” the land commissioner told the Dallas Morning News. “Even in a global pandemic where we have had to take unprecedented measures to protect public health, the economy is already returning. It’s clear America and Texas will continue to be stronger than ever.”

George P. Bush, the nephew of former President George W. Bush, added that he plans to endorse Trump.

The New York Times reported Saturday that the former president won’t support Trump’s reelection efforts, though his spokesman later said he has “not indicated how he will vote.”

Neither George W. Bush nor Jeb Bush voted for Trump in 2016 after Trump repeatedly insulted Jeb, who ran against him in the primary.
