Bernie Sanders believes he’s the voice of the Democratic party.
Speaking about Obama’s State of the Union Address, Sanders said last night, “I was thinking that the President was paying attention to my basic speech.”
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said, “Senator Sanders, we saw a little bit of your response just by looking at the camera on you tonight in the room, but I wonder if you felt like you heard a little bit of your own message, a little bit of your own campaign speech even, in what President Obama said tonight.”
Sanders replied, “Yeah, I was thinking that the President was paying attention to my basic speech there.”
