President Trump’s son-in-law and White House adviser Jared Kushner has been the target of an anti-Semitic social media campaign, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
The campaign coincides with the removal of White House chief strategist Steve Bannon from the National Security Council principals committee, U.S. missile strikes in Syria and reports that Bannon and Kushner are feuding, the group said.
Last week, several alt-right leaders pushed out anti-Kushner tweets that included hashtags such as #firekushner, #kushneratwar and #kushnerswar. At one point, #kushnerswar was trending on Twitter.
Many of the tweets contained anti-Semitic comments toward the White House adviser, according to the ADL.
