Crimo, 21, is accused of killing seven people and injuring 54 others during a parade last month. He faces 21 charges of first-degree murder, 48 counts of attempted murder, and 48 counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.

A prosecutor said Crimo confessed to the shooting voluntarily last month and considered a second attack after leaving the scene of the Independence Day parade.
