Big Score: Dave Matthews Band will hit Nationals Park

The Washington Nationals have scored a coup, but it has nothing to do with baseball.

The Dave Matthews Band will play Nationals Park on the group’s 2010 summer tour, the team and band announced Tuesday. The show will be only the second concert in the 43,000-seat ballpark’s brief history.

The band’s summer schedule lists no show at Jiffy Lube Live, formerly Nissan Pavilion, for the first time in years.

Tickets for the DMB concert, with the Zac Brown Band, go on sale Feb. 26.

Elton John and Billy Joel played Nationals Park last July.
