Ilhan Omar says Tucker Carlson is a ‘racist fool’

Citing several other instances in which Omar has given scathing opinions of her adopted home country, Carlson said, “She has undisguised contempt for the United States and for its people. That should worry you … Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.” He continued by questioning what may have gone wrong in Omar’s journey from oppression to freedom and prosperity that caused her to be so critical.

He further ventured that her story set a dangerous precedent for the future of immigration saying, “No country can import large numbers of people who hate it and expect to survive. The Romans were the last to try that with predictable results.”

The segment concluded with a warning from Carlson who said, “Be grateful for Ilhan Omar, annoying as she is. She’s a living fire alarm, a warning to the rest of us. We better change our immigration system immediately, or else.”

Omar took to Twitter later on Tuesday evening and slammed Carlson for his criticisms. She said, “Not gonna lie, it’s kind of fun watching a racist fool like this weeping about my presence in Congress. No lies will stamp out my love for this country or my resolve to make our union more perfect. They will just have to get used to calling me Congresswoman!”
