CHICAGO (AP) — A bus tour featuring Congressional Democratic women will make a stop in Chicago.
The visit on Wednesday will be the culmination of the bus tour called, “When Women Succeed, America Succeeds: Women on a Roll.” It began Sunday in Seneca Falls, New York.
Along with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California will be Illinois congressmen Jan Schakowsky, Robin Kelly, Brad Schneider, and candidate Ann Callis.
They will discuss policies they believe work for women, including equal pay, raising the minimum wage, paid sick leave, and affordable child care. They will gather at 9 a.m. at Teamster City in Chicago.
