Miley Cyrus is using the celeb communication method of choice — Twitter, natch — to fight rumors that she and ex-beau Nick Jonas are reuniting. As Scoop! told you Monday, a recent report claimed that the “Hannah Montana” star was currently canoodling with Nick, and torn up about breaking the news to her current beau, Justin Gaston. But the singer-actress says it ain’t so.
“Justin and Nick are two very amazing people and they both mean so much to me,” the 16-year-old Tweeted. “I love both of them so much, and they are both very dear to my heart. Justin is an amazing person! He can always make me laugh and has a heart of gold.”
Of Nick, whom she insists is just a good friend, Miley explains, “Our love for music is something that keeps our friendship together and I KNOW NO MATTER [what] he will be my friend forever.”
Adds the precocious tween icon, “It makes me sad to think that people out there aren’t friends with THEIR ex bf, because let me tell u it IS possible.”
Gee, Miley, we guess U R just a lot more mature than the rest of us.
Back On?
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have been spending more time together. But are they actually a couple again? Things certainly seem to be heading in that direction. Just weeks after S.Ro changed the locks of the home she once shared with her ex-girlfriend, they spent the night together. After meeting up with LiLo on Thursday night, the DJ was spotted leaving her former gal pal’s pad at 6 a.m. Friday.
But at least one so-called pal of the “Mean Girls” star thinks Lindsay may be manipulating Sam — suggesting that her alarming recent weight loss is a ploy for sympathy.
“She is a self-destructive person,” a friend of the actress opined to People magazine. “It’s all part of her cry for attention. She wants Sam to see how bad she’s hurting and she wants Hollywood to see her as a ‘tortured artist’ who is wasting away. … This is a symptom of something much bigger — a desperate need to be noticed.”
Being noticed is not something Lindsay really needs to worry about.
Brangelina Blab?
A former bodyguard is reportedly shopping a tell-all about the private world of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The New York Daily News claims to have obtained a book proposal from one Mickey Brett, who has protected the likes of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman — but plays up having Brangelina dirt in his pitch.
A legal rep for the A-list couple, however, told the paper that the bodyguard is a “pathological liar” who faked a nonexistent military background and has been convicted of various crimes. He also said that Brett had backtracked on the veracity of the Brangelina stories in his proposal, alleging that a ghostwriter had embellished them.
Not gonna lie: We’d still totally read that book. (But, presumably thanks to our attorney friend, the proposal is no longer on the table.)
