Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer charged Wednesday that President Trump has done “virtually nothing on trade” despite claiming during the campaign that he would renegotiate major trade deals to help create jobs in the United States.
“We look at things on the merits, and the problem is President Trump has talked a good game and done virtually nothing on trade but study it,” Schumer, D-N.Y., said at an event laying out Democrats’ goals on trade policy.
