CNN’s Don Lemon shares a laugh with Chris Cuomo over his ‘skinny legs’

They say laughter is the best medicine.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo, who revealed he is “getting healthier” in his battle with the coronavirus on Wednesday, shared a moment of levity with fellow host Don Lemon while being teased for having “skinny legs.”

As CNN’s cable prime-time lineup transitioned from Cuomo to Lemon, the two discussed a cartoon painting of Cuomo pictured in his basement with his dogs following, prompting laughter.

“I knew you’d love it, and you know why I know you’d love it. The legs,” Cuomo said.

“Oh, because I always tease you about your legs,” Lemon quipped. “You’ve got skinny legs. I keep telling you that. You don’t believe me. You’ve got a big upper body and skinny legs.”

Cuomo asserted Lemon’s characterization was “really not true.”

Lemon then discussed his experience with the Zoom app, which he says allowed him to connect with friends over Passover. Lemon then began to make weekend plans with Cuomo on the air, suggesting they host an Easter brunch over the application.

“I have an idea … I think this weekend we should do a Zoom brunch or something, where we can actually get together and have Easter. Or some sort of brunch, maybe on Sunday or do something. I don’t know. You’re probably doing something with your family, but maybe? We should do that.”

Cuomo joked that he’s more likely to be invited to a family outing than him, following his recent coronavirus diagnosis.
