Mahmoud Ahmadenijad has provided his analysis of our domestic politics:
“Whoever wins the elections, I’m sure that the United States will change, it will have a different approach… The new president will have to respond to the real demands of the American people: 40 million American citizens do not have health insurance, the victims of the New Orleans hurricane still have no homes.”
Wow! He sounds just like a Democrat running for congress. I bet if he offered his opinions on the Iraq war, we would see still more common ground. No wonder why Obama wants to meet with Ahmadenijad. The Diner Jacket probably has many original ideas on how to begin healing America’s sick. Exit question: Do American liberals ever ask themselves why our enemies so enjoy their rhetoric?
