A D.C. police officer was arrested on burglary charges in an internal affairs sting operation.

Police said Officer Jennifer Green was arrested Saturday after she participated with undercover officers in what she believed to be a burglary of a resident’s home in the 5500 block of Colorado Avenue NW. She was charged with burglary and receiving of stolen property. Green had been the target of criminal investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Internal Affairs unit.
