A group of truckers taking part in the demonstration against vaccine mandates in Ottawa, Canada, took a break from protesting to play a game of street hockey.
A video of the breakout hockey game shows truckers holding hockey sticks and scrambling for the puck while laughing and having fun. Tractor-trailers and Canadian flags can be seen in the background as the truckers play the game.

Some weren’t happy to see the display in the street.
“Idea: They could play hockey somewhere other than on one of the business streets in the city. We have tons of outdoor rinks, or they could rent an ice time like everyone else does,” wrote one Twitter commenter.

“The small, fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa are holding unacceptable views that they’re expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, rights, and values as a country,” Trudeau told reporters last week.
