Trump administration to pivot away from IVF affordability pledge?

President Donald Trump could be moving away from prioritizing efforts to make in vitro fertilization more affordable for Americans.

Currently, there are no plans for the Trump administration to persuade health insurance companies to include IVF services in their coverage, according to a report by the Washington Post. The topic of more cost-efficient options for IVF, including health insurance coverage, was first suggested by Trump while he campaigned for president. The revelation came from “two people with knowledge of internal discussions.”
