Washington Examiner’s Joe Concha said Monday he nearly dismissed comedian Jon Stewart running for president before realizing a couple global leaders were previously entertainers.

Radio host Charlamagne tha God pitched Stewart running for office Saturday on Fox News’s My View with Lara Trump, saying the late-night host could be “a change agent” and is also “a celebrity who actually knows what they’re talking about.” Charlamagne also suggested fellow comedian Stephen Colbert could be Stewart’s vice president.
