Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended a Monday Night Football game with New York Jets owner Woody Johnson.
Cameras spotted the Indiana governor and Johnson sitting next to each other Monday night at the Jets game against Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Johnson, 69, is a longtime Republican megadonor, having been a bundler in the last four presidential elections.
He hosted fundraisers for Donald Trump during the campaign season, and met with the Republican nominee in May. Prior to that, Johnson was the finance chairman for Jeb Bush’s campaign and contributed $500,000 to Right to Rise, the super PAC supporting Bush’s campaign.
The Jets owner is reportedly under serious consideration to be Trump’s ambassador to the United Kingdom.
