Every wild spring break begins in the Wilson Building…

D.C. kids: Love spring break, but hate missing out on civic responsibility? Never you fear, as the D.C. City Council had scheduled its monthly Youth Issues hearing for Saturday at 10 a.m.

For the uninitiated, Mayor Vincent Gray started the hearings when he was city council chairman to hear about issues that impact city youths’ lives. Chairman Kwame Brown now presides over the hearing in room 500 of the Wilson Building.

Testimony was due Thursday from youths 21 and under, so if you’re too late or overaged, stop by to listen in.
