Trump trolls Omarosa with video of her praising him

President Trump trolled fired White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman on Thursday, retweeting a Republican National Committee video compilation of her extolling her former boss.

“Thank you for the kind words Omarosa!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

In the video, which includes clips from the 2016 campaign trail and since Trump’s inauguration, Manigault Newman says the president was “the right choice for America,” among other compliments and personal attestations to his character.

Manigault Newman threw down the gauntlet earlier Thursday when asked by MSNBC to comment on the video.

“If that’s the best that they have, I will just say this to them: I am not going anywhere. I’m not going to be bullied. I’m not intimidated. And I’m going to go toe-to-toe with him. Everything he throws at me,” she said. “Believe me, my tapes are much better than theirs.”

Manigault Newman’s publicity battle with the White House as she promotes her controversial tell-all, Unhinged, took a legal turn Tuesday when Trump’s campaign organization filed for arbitration against its former staffer. The filing, seeking millions of dollars, claims she broke a 2016 nondisclosure agreement by disparaging the president in her book.

Manigault Newman has stirred controversy by releasing a series of surreptitiously recorded tapes, in conjunction with her memoir, which document conversations with her ex-colleagues. One of the recordings captured White House chief of staff John Kelly firing her in December in the Situation Room.

Trump lashed out on Tuesday, calling Manigault Newman a “dog” and a “crazed, crying lowlife.”
