A state lawmaker in California is facing backlash after tweeting about her disdain for Tesla founder Elon Musk.
“F— Elon Musk,” said Lorena Gonzalez, a Democrat in the state’s general assembly.
F*ck Elon Musk.

Gonzalez was apparently reacting to news that Tesla would be moving its business out of California after Musk voiced his frustration that the state is not allowing his company’s headquarters to reopen because of the coronavirus pandemic. Musk announced Saturday that he plans to move the company to either Texas or Nevada.
Critics quickly seized on Gonzalez’s tweet.
.@elonmusk @Tesla employ over 37,000 Californians. What you’re actually saying i “F*ck 37,000 people and their families.”

Aren’t you the woman who almost single-handedly destroyed the gig economy? I think f*** you is pretty much what you say to all Californians. We’ll say it back, get ready.
