'Causing a ruckus': Drag queen shows up to Trump impeachment proceedings

A drag queen showed up to the first day of public impeachment hearings against President Trump on Wednesday.

Pissi Myles, a New York City-based performer, said she came to Washington, D.C., to cover the proceedings for Happs, an online news organization.

“It’s a crazy day in Washington! I’m flipping my wig over the high-energy proceedings today,” Myles told NBC News.

“l’ll be commenting on what’s going on, and probably causing a ruckus in day drag,” a post on Facebook read.

Myles won “Miss Fish NYC 2014,” according to the Washington Post, and has earned other accolades as a performer during a career in drag.
