Starbucks apologizes after video showing arrest of two African-American men at store goes viral

Starbucks apologized Saturday after a video went viral showing two African-American men being arrested at one of its stores in Philadelphia.

The video, which accumulated more than 100,000 retweets on Twitter, shows two men being arrested at a Starbucks store as customers argue with police over their decision to arrest the men.

The police were reportedly called because the two men had not ordered anything as they waited for a friend inside the store.

“What did they get called for?” one customer can be heard asking in the video. “Because there are two black guys sitting here meeting me? Tell me, what did they do?”

The district attorney’s office said that due to having no evidence that a crime had been committed, they were declining to press charges, ABC News 11 reports.
