Donald and Melania Trump made a cameo appearance in first lady Jill Biden’s Christmas decorations.
The Christmas trees gracing the State Dining Room in the White House are decorated with pictures of former first families celebrating the holiday during their time in office. CNN White House Correspondent Kate Bennett found the 45th president and his wife stuck in the back of one of the trees, and the Hill’s correspondent found at least one other.

Many of the pictures came from Jill Biden’s personal collection.

The State Dining Room trees were part of the “Gift of Family” theme, a part of the “Gifts from the Heart” theme that the president and first lady chose for the 2021 Christmas decorations. Other rooms have subthemes such as “Gifts of Peace and Unity,” “Gifts of Service,” and “Gifts of Nature.” There are 41 trees throughout the White House.
