<br/><small><a href=”http://maps.google.com/maps?q=10600+Vantage+Court,+Potomac,+MD&hl=en&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.957999,83.144531&vpsrc=0&hnear=10600+Vantage+Ct,+Potomac,+Maryland+20854&t=m&ie=UTF8&hq=&ll=39.029052,-77.17947&spn=0.013335,0.01708&z=14&iwloc=A&source=embed” style=”color:#0000FF;text-align:left”>View Larger Map</a></small></div> <p>Montgomery County fire officials are investigating a blaze that destroyed a Potomac home.</p> <p>The fire broke out at the home on the <a href=”http://maps.google.com/maps?q=10600+Vantage+Court,+Potomac,+MD&hl=en&ll=39.029052,-77.17947&spn=0.034471,0.081196&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.957999,83.144531&vpsrc=6&hnear=10600+Vantage+Ct,+Potomac,+Maryland+20854&t=m&z=14″>10600 block of Vantage Court</a> at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to Montgomery County fire and rescue.</p> <p>When fire crews arrived, the single-family home was engulfed in flames. A woman who was home at the time was not harmed, authorities said.</p> <p>The woman reported that she turned on a light switch, heard a pop and saw sparks from the outlet.</p> <p>A preliminary investigation shows that the fire was accidental but officials are still investigating. Two adults and one child have been displaced.</p>
