President Trump is hosting a rally in Macon, Ga., Sunday afternoon in support of Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp and his bid for the seat of governor.
The rally is slated for 3:50 p.m. ET. Another “Make America Great Again” rally in Chattanooga, Ten.., will take place at 7:05 p.m.
Kemp is running against Stacey Abrams, who is trying to become the first African-American female governor in the United States. Trump recently said that Abrams is “not qualified” to fill the position.
Abrams and celebrity supporter, Oprah Winfrey, were both targeted by robocalls meant to imitate their voices, saying derogatory and inflammatory things to voters.
Kemp’s office announced Sunday morning it has opened an investigation into Georgia’s Democratic Party after a failed hacking attempt on the state’s voter registration system Saturday evening.
