The Associated Press has called Indiana for Donald Trump, whose vice-presidential pick is governor of the state, as the first polls close on across America.
Trump is winning the state with 62.8 percent of the vote and 10 percent of precincts reported, as of 7:20 PM.
The AP has also called Kentucky for Trump, while Hillary Clinton has taken Vermont.
