Hip hop performer R. Kelly had to break it to his fans on Thursday evening that he will not be performing at President-elect Trump’s inauguration concert.
“Despite the rumors circulating online, R. Kelly will not be performing at this year’s inauguration ceremony,” the rapper said in an image posted on Twitter. “Any reports stating otherwise are simply untrue.”

The Trump transition team did not respond when asked if they had approached R. Kelly about performing in the concert.
