Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Tuesday said no agreement has been made with the United States regarding cartels, despite a memo from the Drug Enforcement Administration saying otherwise.
One day after the DEA announced “a major new initiative” between the two countries, Sheinbaum opened her daily news conference by explaining she was unaware of any such agreement.
