PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (AP) — A group opposed to allowing liquor to be sold by the drink in Pigeon Forge has filed a lawsuit against the Sevier County Election Commission seeking to void the results of a referendum on the issue that passed this month.

The lawsuit was filed by Concerned Churches and Citizens of Pigeon Forge last week, according to The Mountain Press (http://bit.ly/S8yU5x ). The lawsuit seeks to void the Nov. 6 referendum over complaints made to the election commission about the referendum that passed by 100 votes.
