Trump may sue NBC for ‘hot mic’ video

Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that television network NBC broke the law by releasing decade-old footage of him and former “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush making lewd comments about a woman. The billionaire businessman added he may sue the company following the election.

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly asked the Republican nominee if he thinks NBC had engaged in an illegal act by releasing the video of the hot mic incident, which originally took place in 2005.

“Oh, absolutely. No, that was a private locker — dressing room,” Trump said, correcting himself.

When asked if he plans to sue the network, Trump responded, “You’ll see. You will see.”

“Is it possible you might?” O’Reilly asked, pushing for more information.

“I will say, first of all, it shouldn’t have been said. It was, you know, it was locker room talk and, yeah, I mean, you know, we’re going to find out soon enough. I will tell you,” Trump said.

Over the weekend, Trump promised to sue the 11 women who have accused him of sexual misconduct following the election.

“Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign, total fabrication. The events never happened, never,” Trump said during a rally in Gettysburg, Pa., on Saturday.
