San Bruno police release timeline of YouTube shooting response

The San Bruno Police Department issued a timeline of events Tuesday, showing how officers responded to the first reports of an active-shooter situation at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, Calif.

The timeline, shared in a press release, said police arrived at YouTube at 12:48 p.m. local time — just two minutes after they received the first 911 call concerning a possible shooting in the building.

Upon their arrival, police said they found a victim with a gunshot injury outside the building as other employees exited the premises.

Police officers found a deceased woman in the building who died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at 12:53 p.m.

Additionally, the police department said that the building is undergoing a thorough search by SWAT Teams from San Mateo County.

Four people were taken to local hospitals following the attack, three due to gunshot wounds, police said.Police have also said the suspected shooter, a woman, appeared to have taken her own life.
