Arlington County has released new images of the future of the Clarendon Metro plaza.
The county is working with Metro to remake the space into an “active, multi-use plaza” for farmers markets, music events and other community happenings, planners say. Improvements will include new paving, seat-walls, movable tables and chairs, lighting, landscaping and covered bike parking.
Construction is expected to begin in winter or spring.
