President Trump has a tendency to re-gift presents that were given to him, his oldest son said.
The president once gave his namesake, Donald Trump Jr., the present that his son had gifted him the year earlier.
“I got re-gifted all of the things that were monogrammed for him at times,” Trump Jr. told “Extra.” “There was one Christmas where he may or may not have given me the gift that I had given him the year before because I had monogrammed it. And I’m like, ‘I know you didn’t get this,’ ‘How do you know that?’ ‘Because, I gave it to you last year.’”
Trump Jr. said he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and their children from previous marriages are heading to Mar-a-Lago for Christmas. Guilfoyle is the vice-chairwoman of a pro-Trump super PAC.
The president and first lady Melania Trump typically spend the winter holidays at the Florida resort.
“It’s going to be interesting,” Trump Jr. said. “If you think my father is funny on TV, you should see him around the holiday table when everyone is vying for the food.”
