SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — State officials say a new mobile application allows travelers to use their smartphones to obtain information about New Mexico road conditions.

The Department of Transportation says the app can help motorists learn about highway closures or restrictions, traffic congestion, road construction, weather conditions for New Mexico cities and find web cameras showing some roadway sections. That information is now available on the agency’s web site.
