SPIES AMONG US: More details spill out on the now 11 people, three in Northern Virginia, accused of spying for the Russians. The Arlington spy suspects lived seemingly run-of-the-mill lives, until, of course, one was caught while allegedly taking part in secret cash drop in an Arlington Park.
WONE QUITS WITH ACQUITTALS: All three of the defendant in the five-week Robert Wone trial were set free after the charges against them were dropped by a D.C. Superior Court judge. Judge says it’s probable the defendants tried to mislead police, but evidence wasn’t there for a conviction.
S.E. KIDNAPPING HAS HAPPY ENDING: A mother and two young girls who were kidnapped from the front of their Southeast home Tuesday evening all were found safe and sound, one of them in Maryland and the other two later in New York City. The alleged kidnapper is in police custody.
