Fire station moving closer to Metro

Where the Kiss and Ride for the Glenmont Metro station currently sits, fire engines will one day be darting past en route to blazing buildings.

Members of a site selection team announced late Tuesday that Montgomery County’s No. 18 fire station will be relocated alongside the soon-to-be-built parking lot at that stop on Metro’s Red Line in Montgomery County.
