Anne Arundel school to break ground on field house

Ground will be broken on the new 4,000-square-foot field house at Old Mill High School in Anne Arundel County.

Alumni as well as students and staff are invited to the event that begins at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the school?s stadium.

“Our facilities are outdated, and this new field house will be a welcome addition for our fans and our student-athletes alike,” said Tim McMullen, president of the school?s Boosters Club, in a statement.

The club, which spearheaded the project, has mustered community support to pay for the $350,000 project.
