President Obama is meeting with Ohio Gov. and former GOP president candidate John Kasich, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, George W. Bush’s Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and other leaders at the White House Friday to discuss the benefits of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
The White House announced the meeting Thursday night.
Later Friday morning, Kasich and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will appear with presidential press secretary Josh Earnest during his daily briefing to the press.
