House Speaker Paul Ryan tweeted the whole House is thinking of Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., and several staffers who were shot when a group of Republican lawmakers were practicing for the congressional baseball game.
“This morning the hearts of the whole House are with @SteveScalise, the brave Capitol police, staff, and all those who were in harm’s way,” Ryan tweeted.
