“Tim Apple,” as the President Trump has called him, is leaning into the new name.
During a workforce development meeting Wednesday with the country’s leading CEOs, Trump referred to Apple CEO Tim Cook as “Tim Apple.”
The slip-up didn’t do unnoticed by Twitter users.

On Thursday, Cook replaced his last name with the Apple logo, seemingly embracing the “Tim Apple” moniker.

Trump, whose business empire bears his name, has made it a bit of habit to mesh the names of companies with that of their top executives.
Last year for instance, Trump referred to Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson as “Marillyn Lockheed.”
