Former FBI Director James Comey took to Twitter Friday to share a light-hearted photo of himself standing next to the world’s tallest gnome, just 24 hours after a critical report involving his handling of the Clinton probe was published by the Justice Department’s inspector general.
The picture came one day after Comey was labeled “insubordinate” in a report from the department’s inspector general, who also said he and “affirmatively concealed” his intentions from Justice Department leadership during the probe into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The ex-FBI director, who stands 6 feet 8 inches tall, stood next to Elwood, who is the largest fabricated gnome in the world. The gnome, which is 15 feet tall, is located in Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University.
Comey also shared the photo on Instagram Friday with a different caption: “Comey’s Gnomey.”
